collage of gourmet cookie recipes

This post has been a long time coming! I’ve been collecting gourmet cookies for a few years now, and it’s about time they have a home on the blog. Sure most of my “normal” cookie recipes borderline on gourmet: cinnamon cookies, rocky road cookies, and hazelnut cookies to name a few… But today’s list includes cookies that are a labor of love; they are a bit high maintenance, take some extra time and ingredients, and are over the top in all the right ways!

I personally love all of these gourmet cookie recipes, so it’s extremely hard to choose a favorite. If I had to though, I’d probably have to pick my apple pie cookies. They are equal parts adorable and incredible–from the homemade pie filling to the optional “a la mode” topping! Like most of my gourmet cookies, these are a lot of work (we are making five components!) but SO worth the impressive end result.

1. Apple Pie Cookies

My apple pie cookies are topped with a homemade easy apple pie filling, buttery streusel, vanilla glaze, and adorable “ice cream” decoration.
