How to Make Angel Chicken Roll Ups and Rice

This easy recipe comes together quickly with simple ingredients and is perfect for busy weeknights. Start by preparing the Chicken Rice-A-Roni according to the package directions on the stove. While the rice cooks, stir together cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cream cheese, Italian dressing mix, butter, and shredded cheese in a large bowl. Fold the cooked rice into the mixture and spread it into a baking dish.

For the chicken crescent rolls, mix together cooked chicken, cream cheese, shredded colby jack cheese, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rotisserie chicken works great here and keeps prep super easy. You can also use leftover chicken, canned chicken, or cooked chicken from the Instant Pot or slow cooker.

Separate the crescent rolls into triangles and spoon the chicken mixture onto the wide end of the dough. Roll them up and place the crescents on top of the rice mixture. Bake in the oven until the crescent rolls are golden brown and cooked through. Sprinkle extra cheese over the top and bake a few more minutes until melted and bubbly. Finish with fresh parsley before serving.
