Hey popiah lovers! Ann Chin Popiah is opening another outlet on 21 May, this time at Gourmet Paradise Toa Payoh!Â
If you drop by on their first day, they have an opening promotion in store for you! With any 2 Popiah purchased, you can get a S$1 Muah Chee in the flavour of your choice (U.P. S$3 for Peanut, S$3.50 for Black Sesame)!
The popiah chain is taking over the stall previously owned by Hougang 6 Miles Famous Muah Chee, which closed in mid-May. Ann Chin Popiah previously announced on social media in May that they would be opening their new outlet at Toa Payoh Hub, while closing their Ang Mo Kio outlet. That outlet’s last day will be 21 May.Â
Besides these 2 outlets, Ann Chin Popiah has 11 other stalls islandwide. This includes its outlet at Chinatown Complex Market & Food Centre, and flagship stall at Sin Ming Plaza.Â
The chain was founded in 1958 and its legacy has spanned 3 generations. Their brand is known for its Signature Popiah (S$2.60 per pc) and Prawn Popiah (S$3.50 per pc). The popiah is made of freshly handmade skin, which comes with an elastic texture that doesn’t break easily. Â
The brand, which gained Michelin recognition in 2019, 2024 and 2025, is also known for selling Kueh Pie Tee (S$4 for 4 pcs).
If you’re planning to host a party or large gathering, you can also purchase in bulk! Their Party Set sells at S$40 for 18 popiah rolls, while you can also get 50 cups of Kueh Pie Tee for S$50!Â
I’m looking forward to this new opening! With this stall located near our office, I can easily drop by to pair my meal with some good popiah. I’ll probably visit on 21 May for the opening promotion, too!
