- steak strips cut thin (flank, sirloin)
- soy sauce
- water
- garlic
- rice vinegar
- bell pepper cleaned and sliced
- broccoli florets

- brown sugar

Stir Fry Tips and Cooking Methods
Oven: Brown steak dump everything in except cornstarch in the pan. Bake until the meat is tender around 35 minutes at 400 degrees. Thicken with cornstarch if necessary 5 minutes before it’s completely cooking.- Instant Pot: Place on the sear the chicken with butter and olive oil. Then, set it to pressure cooker mode for 45 minutes.
- Slow Cooker: Place on low for 6 to 8 hours. High 4 to 6 hours. Use the cornstarch at the last 30 minutes of cooking to thicken

Steak Stir Fry
This is weeknight delicious steak stir fry perfect for on-the-go busy schedules and a tasty dish under 30 minutes.

Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 6 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
- 2 teaspoons regular rice vinegar
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil divided
- 1 frozen package of broccoli florets
- 1 pound flank steak strips (sliced thin) or you can use boneless chicken breast
- salt, and pepper to taste
- 1 orange and green bell pepper thinly sliced, 1/2 cup thinly sliced carrots (optional)
- serve with white rice
Instructions
- In a bowl whisk together the water, soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar until sugar is dissolved. Set aside.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Add the broccoli, carrots, and peppers and saute until tender-crisp and around 6 to 7 minutes. Add to a bowl then set aside.
- In the same pan reduce the heat to low add oil then saute the beef and sprinkle with salt cooking for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the sauce.
- Bring that to a simmer for around 3 minutes.
- Stir in the mixture with broccoli to the skillet and cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce has thickened and evenly coats meat and vegetables, about 3 minutes
- Serve over steamed white rice.
