Here are a few Tips and Steps for Making the Best Semi Homemade Cranberry Sauce:
- use only fresh oranges squeezed and zest
- for a spicy taste add a pinch of cinnamon and cayenne pepper
- cranberry sauce can be served warm or cold
- change the flavor by adding almond extract and top with sliced toasted almonds on top for garnish
- refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving to meld flavors
- cranberry sauce will last up to 1 week stored covered in the refrigerator

Semi Homemade Cranberry Sauce
This is a semi-homemade cranberry sauce. A vintage recipe that is made with whole of jellied cranberry sauce with a few additions this will be a new favorite for cranberry sauce lovers.

Ingredients
- 1 can cranberry sauce (whole or jellied)
- 1/2 teaspoon orange zest
- 1/4 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed)
- 3 tablespoons honey
Instructions
- In a bowl add the cranberry sauce (I use whole berries).
- Add the rest of the ingredients and mix this all together.
- Refrigerate overnight or serve immediately.
- This can be served heated and warmed or cold.
