Crack Chicken Dip in Mini Bread Bowls
These Crack Chicken Hawaiian Rolls were the star of our game day party last weekend. OMG! They are SO good! Our favorite Crack Chicken Dip stuffed into sweet Hawaiian rolls and baked to perfection. They are irresistibly delicious, making them a perfect appetizer or snack for any occasion.
What does CRACK mean?
If a recipe has “crack” in the title it means that the recipe has cheddar, bacon, and ranch in the ingredients. It all started with my Crack Dip way back in 2007. I made the dip for a Titans football game. Everyone went crazy over it. We couldn’t stop eating it and said it was like crack. The name stuck.
According to the dictionary, the definition of crack is “of superior excellence or ability”. We think the flavor combination of cheddar, bacon, and ranch fits this definition! This recipe is most definitely of superior excellence!
How to Make Crack Chicken Dip Hawaiian Rolls
This appetizer is super easy to make with only a few simple ingredients. In a medium bowl, stir together cream cheese, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and shredded chicken.
Place Hawaiian rolls on a large baking sheet. Cut a square in the top of each roll and press the bread square down into the roll. In a small bowl, stir together melted butter and ranch seasoning. Brush the rolls with the melted ranch butter. Divide the dip mixture between the rolls.
Bake in a preheated oven until bubbly. Brush the rolls with any leftover ranch butter and sprinkle with parsley or green onions.
