Crack Chicken Crescent Rolls

Crack Chicken Crescent Ring is one of those recipes that disappears as fast as you can slice it. The warm crescent rolls are golden and flaky on the outside, stuffed with a creamy, cheesy mix of shredded chicken, ranch dressing, crispy bacon, and melted cheddar. It’s rich, comforting, and totally addicting—basically everything you love about crack chicken wrapped up in soft, buttery bread. Perfect for parties, game day, or whenever you’re craving something fun and easy.

What does CRACK mean?

If a recipe has “crack” in the title it means that the recipe has cheddar, bacon, and ranch in the ingredients. It all started with my Crack Dip way back in 2007. I made the dip for a Titans football game. Everyone went crazy over it. We couldn’t stop eating it and said it was like crack. The name stuck.

According to the dictionary, the definition of crack is “of superior excellence or ability”. We think the flavor combination of cheddar, bacon, and ranch fits this definition! This recipe is most definitely of superior excellence!

How to Make Crack Chicken Crescent Ring

This recipe is super easy to make with only a few simple ingredients.  In a medium bowl, stir together shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and ranch dressing – season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Unroll both cans of dough and separate them into 16 triangles. Arrange the crescent roll dough triangles in a circle with the short sides in the center, forming about a 5-inch opening, on a pizza pan. The dough will overlap slightly and should look like a sunburst.

Spoon the chicken mixture on the half of each triangle closest to the center of the ring. Lift each dough triangle up and over the filling, tucking the tip underneath the bottom layer of dough to hold it in place. Continue around the ring until all the filling is wrapped up—it’s okay if a little bit peeks through.

Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown. Garnish with parsley or green onions. Serve with extra ranch dressing for dipping.
