What does CRACK mean?
If a recipe has “crack” in the title it means that the recipe has cheddar, bacon, and ranch in the ingredients. It all started with my Crack Dip way back in 2007. I made the dip for a Titans football game. Everyone went crazy over it. We couldn’t stop eating it and said it was like crack. The name stuck.
According to the dictionary, the definition of crack is “of superior excellence or ability”. We think the flavor combination of cheddar, bacon, and ranch fits this definition! This recipe is most definitely of superior excellence!
How to Make Crack Chicken Bread
This dish is super easy to make with only a few simple ingredients. Spray a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray or brush with olive oil. Open a can of crescent rolls, and don’t unroll. Using a sharp knife, cut the whole roll of dough in half lengthwise. Place dough cut side down in the loaf pan.
Chop chicken tenders into bite-sized pieces. Sprinkle chicken over the crescent rolls. Top the chicken with cooked chopped bacon. Drizzle ranch dressing over the top and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake in a preheated oven until bubbly and golden brown. Garnish the bread with green onions or parsley. Carefully remove the bread from the pan and cut into slices.

What to Serve with Crack Chicken Bread

- A fresh, crisp salad with a tangy vinaigrette is a great choice. It cuts through the richness of the chicken, bacon, and cheese, adding a refreshing contrast.
