Easy Steps Air Fryer Potato Chip Chicken Tenders
- Preheat the air fryer for 3 minutes and oil spray the basket
- Slice the chicken in long strips
- In a small mixing bowl beat the eggs with all the ingredients and seasonings then soak the chicken for 1 hour
- In a sealed plastic bag add the crushed chips shake and place on the basket.
- Sprinkle some Italian breadcrumbs in any spaces not covered.
- Air fry for around (a total time) 14 minutes flipping once.
- Baking:Â Â place them on parchment paper for around 20 minutes at 400 degrees or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees using an instant-read thermometer

Air Fryer Potato Chip Chicken Tenders
Potato chip-coated chicken tenders air fried served with your favorite condiments a game changer in fast food cooking.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds of chicken tenders
- Chicken Coating:
- 1 1/2 cups of plain wavy potato chips crushed into a plastic sealed bag (regular or wavy chips are fine to use).
- Note: for a different coating use flavored potato chips that you prefer any brand regular or wavy
- 1/2 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- Marinade:
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste (around 1/4 teaspoon each. You can always add more after this is cooked)
Instructions
- Spray air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray
- Beat eggs in a bowl (big enough to soak the chicken pieces) with milk, lemon juice, granulated garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Place the chicken in this mixture and refrigerate for around 1 hour.
- Crush chips the potato chips in a sealed plastic bag.
- Dip chicken in egg mixture, then coat in chips.
- Oil spray the air fryer basket.
- Preheat the air fryer for 3 minutes at 375 degrees.
- Place the coated chicken single in the basket and sprinkle the top with breadcrumbs if any parts aren’t coated.
- Air fry at 375 degrees for 7 minutes, flipping once halfway through cooking, and continue for 7 more minutes.
- Chicken should begin to get crispy on the outside.
- Chicken is completely cooked when it registers 165 degrees internal temperature using an instant-read thermometer
