Punggol Pasar Malam is back, and better than ever before, from 30 Sep to 31 Oct 2026. Open daily 12pm – 10pm, there are 60+ F&B stalls this time round, along with a huge squishy store. Besides food and squishy galore, there are also amusement rides and game stalls to enjoy. Best of all, there’s live music to jam out to every Fri to Sun.Â
Some readers might remember the previous Punggol Pasar Malam being located in the small alleyway near the bus interchange. This time round, the pasar malam is located at the grass field beside Waterway Point.

After devouring so much food, here are my personal highlights from everything we tried.

We started off by ordering from The Pasta Lab. True to its name, this stall allows you to create your own pasta from S$6.50. However, we got the Creamy Prawn Tom Yum (S$10). We were also lucky enough to get a free Aglio Olio as we were among the first 30 customers of the day. The free Aglio Olio promo will end on 2 Oct 2026, but the owner said it may be extended if demand is high.Â

Pictured on the left is the free Aglio Olio and on the right is the Creamy Prawn Tom Yum. Both were al dente, with a firm and satisfying bite. The Creamy Prawn Tom Yum was definitely the standout for me, with its zesty and punchy sauce coating every bit of the spaghetti. The prawns were also succulent and fresh. The free aglio olio had a nice roasted garlic flavour with herbaceous hints.
Be warned, the first mouthful of these two pastas may seem innocent, but the spice creeps up on you.

The next stall we tried was Gepuk Leh!!, which sells… You guessed it, ayam gepuk, also known as Indonesian smashed chicken. We ordered the Ayam Gepuk Original (S$10.90) to try.Â

Besides the dish, I also enjoyed watching the preparation process. Watch the owner prepare your base, then add the chicken and toppings for a mesmerising scene.Â

This was a wonderful, satisfying mix of everything, from vegetables such as bayam goreng (fried spinach) and cucumber to indulgent nasi lemak rice. The crispy ayam gepuk contrasted well with the soft rice. Plus, the piquant chilli definitely helps to cut through the greasiness for a balanced bite.

Lastly, moochi offers handmade mochi desserts at an affordable price point starting from S$5. We tried the Mango Bobo (S$8) and Taro Purple Rice Oreo (S$7).

The Mango Bobo had soft, delicate mochi skin wrapped around a humongous mango. If you love desserts that aren’t too sweet, the Taro Purple Rice Oreo is definitely a good option; I liked that the taro paste within wasn’t cloying. For its generous portions, the price is justified in my opinion.Â

Something unique at this pasar malam is the huge squishy store by The Squishy Club. From silicone to taba to foam squishies, this place is a dream if you like such toys. I also noticed that their silicone squishies had little to no air pockets, giving that perfect crunchy feeling.Â

You can also check out the amusement rides and game stalls if you want a nice activity to enjoy after your hearty meal.Â
Would I recommend the Punggol Pasar Malam? Why not! It offers unique stalls and is conveniently situated right beside Punggol MRT (NE17) station.
