Summer cookouts are one of my favorite ways to bring family and friends together. Nothing beats good food, great company, warm weather, and the chance to sit outside, slow down, and enjoy life together.
The problem? Traditional cookout food isn’t always the healthiest. That’s why I’ve spent years redefining what a summer cookout can look like. The recipes in this collection include hearty plant-based mains and fresh veggie sides to refreshing fruit drinks and naturally sweet and dairy-free desserts.

Yes, many cookout recipes can be prepared in advance, which makes hosting much smoother. Salads, dips, marinades, desserts, and even some side dishes can be made a day ahead and stored in the fridge. This not only saves time on the day of the cookout but also allows flavors to develop even more.
