Wong Fu Fu has XXL milk tea in Bugis
As a bubble tea lover, I could hardly believe my ears when I heard that Wong Fu Fu was bringing back their XXL milk tea, weighing up to 5kg with a whopping 1kg of pearls. I’ve heard plenty of stories about their gargantuan cups, including the 10-litre version my colleagues tried last year, so I was excited to try the XXL milk tea for myself.
Wong Fu Fu Has 10-Litre Milk Tea And XXL Pearls That Are Bigger Than Your Fist

To be honest, I didn’t have high expectations for such a massive drink, but I have to admit it offered decent value for money. At $29.90+ for 5 litres, it works out to roughly $6.58 per litre, making it a fun and quirky option to share with friends.
The bubble tea experience is not complete without its toppings, and Wong Fu Fu delivers on that aspect as well. Your giant cups come with 500g of tapioca pearls and 500g of brown sugar belly balls, along with a jug of sweetener. We liked how we could control the amount of sweetness in our drink, which kept it from becoming cloying.

As for the milk tea, it leaned on the lighter side with a good balance between milk and tea. However, it still lacked the depth of aromatic, fragrant tea flavour that we were hoping for.

That said, the 1kg of toppings was a nice touch, offering a chewy and bouncy texture that was satisfying to munch on. It was, however, a bit tricky to dig through the heap of ice that covered a significant portion of the huge cup.
If you and your friends fail to complete the challenge of finishing the drink, you can request to take away any leftovers. Beyond bubble tea, the store also offers 5-litre versions of the Mega Matcha Latte ($59.90+) and Mega Strawberry Matcha Latte ($69.90+).

XXL drinks aren’t the only special offerings at Wong Fu Fu right now, as they’ve also teamed up with My Little Pony for a limited-time pop-up menu. The collaboration features over 10 whimsical creations, including the Superrr Magical! Korean Fried Chicken Burger ($22.90+) and the Mornings…What Ever Great Morning Breakfast ($24.90+), a giant breakfast platter.
