25+ Must-Try Easter Desserts
With Easter just over two weeks away, I thought now would be a good time to round up my favorite, best Easter desserts. This list features several of my top spring cakes as well as cookies, tarts, pies, and candies. Lots to choose from, and all are winners in my book!
My favorite recipe on this list is also the most nostalgic for me. Making old fashioned Easter egg candy was one of my family’s favorite traditions growing up. The recipe uses a sneaky secret ingredient (hint: it’s mashed potatoes) and is so versatile. It serves as the base for my potato candy and can be rolled into cigar shapes and coated in cinnamon for “cinnamon cigars”. It should be no surprise to you that my favorite is the chocolate dipped version though 😉
Check through this list and let me know if you see anything that you’ll be making for your Easter dessert table this year. There’s something here for everyone!
1. Easter Egg Candy
This recipe has been in my family for generations. My family looks forward to making it every year!

Old fashioned Easter egg candy is a bit different from the norm, but oh so good! The buttercream center is tempered by a secret ingredient that may surprise you.
