If you’re like me and consider Suntec City your go-to weekend spot, you’ll be excited to hear that the popular Food Republic in the mall’s basement has just reopened after a major makeover. The revamped space now features plenty of new stalls, serving everything from Hong Kong roast duck to KL-style chilli pan mee!

There are eight new stalls in the mix, including London Fat Roast, a Food Republic-exclusive concept by the renowned London Fat Duck.

Their Boneless Wagyu Roast Duck Rice (from $9.80) features thick and juicy slices of their signature roasted Irish duck, served alongside fluffy rice, braised peanuts, and fresh choy sum.

Another standout is The Noodle Memories. Founded by two young KL-born hawkers, they’re known for their authentic KL-style chilli pan mee, featuring handmade noodles and a fiery, secret dried chilli mix that packs a serious punch.

If you’re not sure of what to get, go for their Specialty Dry Chilli Noodle ($5.50), featuring a generous serving of noodles topped with minced pork, black fungus, fried shallots, crispy beancurd skin, Chinese cabbage, and a silky poached egg.
