Hey, lobster fanatics — this one’s for you! The Hermès of crustaceans that you love is often considered a luxury, and let’s be real — it’s not exactly the cheapest to order at restaurants, right? Well, good news: CLOVE at Swissôtel The Stamford Singapore has brought back its Lobster & Beer Fest, which will run till 26 Oct 2025. It’s the perfect opportunity to indulge.
This all-you-can-eat buffet showcases a mix of local and international flavours, presenting crowd-favourite lobster staples along with fresh innovations. So do arrive on an empty stomach and feast away. Here are some highlights that you can look forward to.
Head over to the cold seafood area, and pile your plate high with as much chilled Maine Lobster as you wish. Enjoy it as it is to savour its natural sweetness and springy bite, or jazz it up with a spritz of lemon, a dash of Tabasco, or slather on some tangy cocktail sauce for different sensations.
If you’re looking for something light to fire up your appetite, the Lobster Cocktail or Lobster Potato Rösti with sour cream and chives make excellent starters.
I decided to lay 4 different lobster varieties on my plate to have a mini flavour adventure. I started off with the White Pepper Lobster which was creamy and fiery at the same time. The Mala Lobster was interesting with its numbing Sichuan peppercorn and complexity of spices. There’s also Black Pepper Lobster and Kam Heong Style Lobster.
While exploring the buffet spread, I couldn’t help but overhear other patrons raving about the Sarawak White Pepper Lobster Bee Hoon. I’m glad my sharp sense of hearing served me well because, thank the heavens, this dish was divine. Served on a large paella-like pan, the thin rice noodles were surrounded by cooked lobster. Each strand was rich in umami and lightly kissed by the pepper’s heat, reminding me of my favourite claypot crab bee hoon at zi char restaurants.
Everyone loves chilli crab, so why not switch things up with some Singapore Chiili Lobster? And not to worry, the chefs at CLOVE didn’t forget the mantous.
Swing by the Indian section to relish in some Lobster Briyani topped with almonds and raisins, or Lobster Butter Masala.
Approach the chef at the noodle counter, and he’ll cook you a piping-hot bowl of Lobster Laksa with your choice of noodles and ingredients.
As much as you love lobster, don’t forget to throw in some variety and check out the rest of the buffet spread. Oh, and reserve some stomach space for dessert as well. They’ve got Apple Cheese Strudel Puff, Ice Cream, and a whole range of small decadent pastries and chocolates for you to feast on.
Since its called Lobster & Beer Fest, the buffet comes with bottomless ice-cold Erdinger Beer to cool you down.
