Cooker Malai Cake: a timeless delight🍰

Malai Cake Recipe –
Ingredients –
Milk Powder – 1 cup
Powdered sugar – 1 cup
Malai – 1 cup
Maida – 1 cup + 1/2 cup
Milk – 1/2 cup ( don’t add all at once)
Curd – 3 tbsp
Baking soda – 1/2 tsp
Baking powder – 1 tsp
Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp
Method –
1. First we start by whisking sugar, milk powder and Ghar ka Malai, once it all comes together. Then add the baking soda, baking powder, Maida, curd & milk.
2. now gently mix this using a spatuala
3. transfer this to a greased tin.
4. meanwhile, preheat an empty cooker, REMOVE THE GASKET AND WHISTLE for atleast 15-20 mins
5. Then place a ring and transfer the cake tin inside the cooker, close the lid and cook on slow to medium flame on your small burner for 30-40 mins.
6. after 30 mins, insert a skewer and check, if it comes out clean then it’s done or else continue cooking.
Malai – cream collected from boiling milk at home and there is no substitute unless you can find cream with above 30% fat.
