Notes
Even with refrigeration, the liposomes might degrade over time, especially in the presence of the orange juice’s acidity. Substituting the orange juice with carrot may help extend the shelf life, but it’s still best to use this elixir within the same day. Collagen can also degrade over time, especially in liquid form. And freshly squeezed orange juice loses its vitamin C content relatively quickly, even when refrigerated. If you do choose to store it:
● Refrigerate immediately: Store the mixture in the fridge in your opaque glass dropper bottle right after preparation.
● Consume within 24 hours: Aim to consume the stored mixture within 24 hours for best results.
● Observe for changes: Before consuming, check for any signs of degradation, like changes in color, odor, or consistency.
