  • To begin making the Burnt Garlic Veg Fried Rice Recipe, pressure cook the rice in a pressure cooker with  2 cups of water for about 2 whistle and switch it off.

  • Heat a wok with oil, add garlic, ginger and allow it to soften. Add onions and saute till they turn translucent.

  • Add carrot and cook for about 10 minutes till the carrot soften. Add all the bell peppers and saute till they become soft.

  • Add all the Chinese sauces along with salt and pepper. Mix well, add your cooked rice into the wok and stir fry them till the rice is well coated.

  • Check for salt and sprinkle with spring onions and give one last toss.

  • In a small pan, heat the oil and add the diced garlic. Fry till they turn deep brown in color. Pour half the burnt garlic in the rice and mix well.

  • Just before serving, garnish with the rest of burnt garlic and spring onions.

  • Serve the Burnt Garlic Veg Fried Rice Recipe along Chinese chicken Manchurian and salad to enjoy your Sunday lunch.
