McDonald’s and Old Chang Kee collab for National Day 2026
This National Day, McDonald’s is teaming up with local favourite snack brand Old Chang Kee for a collab like no other. Launching from 9 July, 11am, the collaboration introduces a trio of curry-inspired treats that put a local spin on your favourite fast-food classics.
Kicking things off is the Curry Potato Chicken Burger (Single/Double, from $9.20/$11.20), inspired by the iconic curry puff from Old Chang Kee. It starts with McDonald’s crispy chicken patty, adds a fried egg, and is topped with a generous helping of curry potato filling for a comforting bite.
A collaborative creation between McDonald’s and Old Chang Kee, the curry potato features creamy, flavourful potato chunks and a subtle kick of spice that’s approachable even for those who aren’t big fans of heat. My only hope? That the portions stay just as generous when this burger hits all McDonald’s outlets across Singapore.
I preferred the Rendang Curry Beef Burger (Single/Double, from $9.50/$12.30), which layers a beef patty with rich rendang sauce, a fried egg, and chopped onions. Do note that this burger will roll out on 23 July, 11am.
The rendang sauce really stole the show with its rich, aromatic flavour—sweet, coconutty, and perfectly balanced against the savoury beef.
No curry feast is complete without fries. Upgrade your meal with Curry McShaker Fries (top up $1.25): golden fries tossed in a fragrant curry seasoning co-created with Old Chang Kee. I enjoyed this flavour, but thought it could be a tad less sweet.
That’s not all: the viral Curry Sauce Bottle makes a comeback on 9 July with four unique designs. Available for $5.50 with any meal purchase or $8 a la carte, it’s perfect for dipping, drizzling, and adding a little extra curry goodness to all your favourite sides, while stocks last.
Rounding out the menu are sweet bites to balance your curry cravings. Enjoy the Pineapple Coconut Pie ($1.80), chewy Sweet Potato Mochi Balls ($2.05 for four, $4.15 for eight), or a tropical Mango Soft Serve (from $1.30) to finish on a refreshing note.

The collaboration is available islandwide, including Drive-Thrus and delivery via McDelivery, GrabFood, and foodpanda, but only for a limited time.
