Ingredients
- Homemade Sangria Recipe
- 1 bottle (750 ml) dry red wine (like Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot)
- 1/4 cup brandy (I prefer blackberry)
- 2 tablespoons orange liqueur (like Triple Sec)
- 2-3 tablespoons sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 lime, sliced
- 1 cup fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries)
- 1-2 cups sparkling water or club soda (added just before serving)
- ice, preferably with fruit
- Garnish with fruit skewers on an umbrella or a sprig of fresh mint

Instructions
- Directions for Adult Version
- In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine the wine (optional brandy), orange liqueur, and honey (or sugar).
- Stir to combine, and if you’re using sugar, make sure it’s completely dissolved.
- Add all the sliced fruit and berries, and more wine and honey to taste if necessary.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (overnight is best for deeper flavor).
- Just before serving, add sparkling water for a bubbly, refreshing drink.
