Chef Wei HK Cheong Fun opens at Tampines 1 food court

Tampines 1 has been buzzing with exciting new openings lately. Following the launch of Hokkien Man Hokkien Mee at the mall’s Hawker Street food court, Chef Wei HK Cheong Fun has just joined the lineup on 15 March 2026, serving up silky Hong Kong-style chee cheong fun (CCF).

If you haven’t heard of Chef Wei HK Cheong Fun yet, here’s the scoop: the popular chain made its debut at a hawker stall in Bedok back in 2021. It quickly caught the attention of many Singaporeans, thanks to its founder—an ex-Peach Garden chef—who brought his touch of fine-dining expertise to the humble CCF stall.
Easties who love a good plate of CCF can now indulge in seven different flavours at the chain’s latest Tampines outlet, starting with the classic Plain Cheong Fun ($3), which features steamed rice rolls drizzled with soy sauce and topped with toasted sesame seeds.
Since you’re already there, we recommend trying the ones with fillings, such as the crowd-favourite Char Siew Cheong Fun ($4) and Prawn Cheong Fun ($5).
You can’t go wrong with the Char Siew Cheong Fun, where velvety smooth rice rolls are stuffed with sweet char siew. You can taste the charred and caramelised bits of the barbequed meat, pairing perfectly with the slightly salty and umami soy sauce.
For those who don’t mind spending a bit more, consider the Scallop Cheong Fun ($6), the priciest of the lot.
The stall is very new to Tampines 1’s food court, so please bear with any initial hiccups as the staff fine-tune their service.
