fresh pineapple chunks -

barbecue sauce -
Fresh lime and cilantro
for serving (optional)

Preheat grill to medium heat.

Thread shrimp and pineapple onto soaked wooden or metal skewers. Brush on both sides with barbecue sauce.

Place skewers on grill over indirect heat and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until shrimp are pink and just cooked through. Brush with additional barbecue sauce before flipping.
