Strawberry Panna Cotta is a soft pudding made with ingredients like milk, cream, and strawberries. This dessert has a creamy and has a fruity taste. I loved how the fresh strawberries gives a beautiful pink color to the pudding. Not only colour but it gives a wonderful berry flavour to it. This looks like dessert bought from a restaurant but we can easily make it at home. Check out my strawberry jelly.

This panna cotta has a rich and creamy flavor. Gelation is added to the recipe which helps in setting the dessert. Instead of gelatin you can use agar agar also. Adding strawberries gives a fresh flavor and nice taste to the recipe. The texture of the panna cotta is also very smooth and looks shining.

Maha and mahi are big lovers of strawberry, and they love this so much. We make it on weekends or during vacation and enjoy it. It looks very fancy even though it is simple to prepare. Also, the sauce is very rich and it enhances the entire recipe. It looks very pretty and colorful which my kids love.

If gelatin is not available, you can use china grass.  You can also make it in small cups so it is easy to serve.  If you don’t have fresh strawberries, you can use strawberry jam.

Ingredients

Strawberries – about 15, chopped, use fresh strawberries, which are pureed and added in the panna cotta mixture as well as drizzling on top. Reserve extras for garnishing

Sugar – 4 to 5 spoons, to make the pudding sweet. You can add more or less depending on your taste.

Vanilla extract – half a small spoon, for a nice smell and taste. Vanilla when combined with strawberries enhance the taste and aroma.

Milk and cream – form the base of the panna cotta which makes the pudding so light, milky and melt in mould.

Gelatin or agar agar – this helps the pudding to set. You can use any one of the both for getting soft set in your panna cotta.
