I used 300g of boneless chicken breast (you can use any cut, bone-in or boneless). Cut into medium pieces and marinate with:
• 1 tsp chili powder
• Salt to taste
• A squeeze of lemon
• Crushed black pepper
• 2 tbsp neutral oil (or sesame oil)
👉 For coating:
1. Crack 1 egg in a bowl.
2. Crush some cornflakes into small bits.
3. Dip marinated chicken in egg → coat with cornflakes → repeat for an extra crispy layer.
🍗 Air fry at 200°C for 10 mins each side until golden & crispy.
🔥 For the sauce:
• 1 tbsp soy sauce
• 1 tbsp ketchup
• 1 tbsp sesame oil
• 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
• 1 tsp garlic paste
• ½ cup water
• ½ tsp cornflour (mixed with water)
Cook until the sauce thickens and bubbles nicely. Toss in the fried chicken until fully coated.
