About Beetroot Juice
Fresh beetroot juice is made with beetroots, sugar and lemon juice. You can use peeled, chopped beetroots and blend them with a little sugar and a touch of lemon juice. You can even add other ingredients like pomegranate. One of the most popular juice recipe is ABC juice which includes apples, beetroot and carrot blend together.

Beetroots – Use fresh and firm beetroots for making juice. You can opt for young tender beetroots which has more sweetness and less bitter taste.
Sugar – You can use any of your favorite sweetner in beetroot juice. Sugar, honey, maple syrup can be used.
Lemon Juice – a touch of fresh lemon juice adds the tang and fresh taste to the beetroot juice.
Additional Ingredients – as an additional ingredient, you can use pomegranates, ginger, carrots, apples.
Beetroot Juice 2 Ways

Raw Beetroot Juice – made with fresh beets, sugar and lemon juice blend together to a smooth puree. This is then strained through a strainer to extract the juice.
Beet Pomegranate Juice – add a handful of pomegranates into beets when grinding them to extract the juice. It adds extra nutrition and taste to the juice.

Grinding Beetroots
1)Take fresh beetroots and peel the skin off. Wash them really well. Chop them into small pieces.
2)Take the chopped beetroots in a blender.
3)Add very little water and grind to a smooth puree.
Straining Juice
4)Once beetroots are ground, strain them using a fine sieve.
5)Freshly juiced beetroot juice.
Making Beetroot Juice
6)Add in your favorite sweetener of choice. Add some sugar or honey in your juice.
7)Add a splash of lemon juice to taste.
8)Mix well, your fresh beetroot juice is ready.

Beetroot Juice with Pomegranates
Ingredients Used
- Beetroot – 2 peeled and cubed
- Pomegranate – 2 seeded
- Sugar to taste
- Lemon Juice to taste
How to Make Beetroot Pomegranate Juice
1)Wash and peel beetroots skin. Chop them into small pieces and set aside. Cut open pomegranate and remove the seeds from it. I like to bash the pomegranate after cutting in halve to remove the seeds.
2)I made this juice in a juicer. Add beetroots into the juicer.
3)Add in pomegranate kernels into the juicer as well.
4)Grind this and extract the juice from this.
5)Freshly extracted juice.
6)Now add in some lemon juice to taste.
7)Add in sugar or honey to taste.
8)Mix this really well.
9)Serve cold.
