Serving Suggestions

Tips for Making The Perfect Meat Rollups
- Pound the Meat Thin: For easy rolling and even cooking, gently pound the cutlets between plastic wrap until thin but not tearing
- Don’t Overstuff: A little goes a long way; too much filling will make them hard to roll or cause leaks during baking.
- Meat Options: Use thin chicken breasts or ground beef flattened into pattiesCheese Swap: Try ricotta or shredded provolone for a different texture.
- Herb Boost: Add oregano or Italian seasoning to the breadcrumb mix.
- Spicy Kick: Add diced jalapeños or hot capicola for a fiery twist.
- Low Carb Option: Skip the flour and add crushed pork rinds instead
- Secure with Toothpicks or Kitchen Twine: Keep your rolls tight and neat during the bake by securing each one
- Sear First for Flavor: This is optional, but it adds a flavorful crust on the meat to quickly sear the rolls in a hot skillet before baking
- Make-Ahead Friendly: Assemble the rolls a day ahead and refrigerate. Just pop them in the oven before dinner!

Other Cooking Methods
- Air Fried: Oil spray the air fryer basket, and preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 400Â degrees. Add the rollups to the air fryer basket and spread them out into a single, even layer. Do not crowd the rolls. Air fry the beef for 5 minutes. Flip over and then continue to air fry for another 5 to 6 minutes or until cooked through and crispy and slightly browned (the internal temperature should be checked to your preference using an instant-read thermometer). Pork and Chicken need to be cooked to temperatures indicated for safety.Â
- Baked: Place your beef or pork rollups on an oiled spray baking sheet or parchment paper. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, flipping over at the 10-minute mark, or until the internal temperature is desired according to an instant-read thermometer.
